Electronic Arts announced that, for the first time, soccer fans worldwide will be able to download the official 2006 FIFA World Cup game for cellphones. The game will be available in the five continents, allowing players to be part of the most exciting sport experience ever created for this platform.
Users will be able to choose any of the 32 teams of the final round and lead it to win the most precious trophy in football: FIFA World Cup.
State-of-the-art graphics for cellphones, a super realistic game system, and an improved system of passing and shooting allow the player to show his ability in a way he could only dream of before. A wide variety of camera angles in a 3D version will create the illusion of being inside the Stadiums. However, weather conditions will affect the performance.
The game has versions in English, Chinese, Italian, French, German and Spanish and will be launched first in Europe, during April 2006, and afterwards in Asia, South America, North America and Australia.
